Digital product passport providers in Poland: 13 companies compared by model, price and status (2026)

Self-serve tools, platforms with implementation projects, modules of ESG platforms and companies that have not launched yet. We checked 13 Polish providers and 4 foreign ones with a Polish site against their own websites, listed prices with their units and added six questions to ask before you sign. DPPera is on the list too, described by the same rules.

DPPera - Providers: DPP software in Poland compared, 2026

We checked the websites of every company offering digital product passport software in Poland: 13 Polish companies and 4 foreign ones with a Polish version of their site. For each we list the delivery model, the lowest public price with its unit, the free option and the launch status. All data comes from the providers' own websites, checked on 20 and 21 October 2026. DPPera is on the list too, described by the same rules.

First: do you need a provider yet

It depends on the product. There is one certain date: from 18 February 2027 a passport is required for LMT batteries (for example in e-bikes and e-scooters), industrial batteries above 2 kWh, including energy storage, and electric vehicle batteries (Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542). For textiles, the delegated act under ESPR is expected around 2027, with obligations for companies realistically in 2028-2029. Furniture comes later still. We keep the dates, split into certain and expected, on the industries and deadlines page.

If the passport comes from ESPR, the provider stops being a convenience. Article 10(4) ESPR requires a backup copy of the passport made available through a digital product passport service provider, and Article 11(e) requires the passport to stay available even after the manufacturer's insolvency or liquidation. The Battery Regulation has no such provider role, so for batteries the choice of tool is a matter of practice, not of law.

How to read this comparison

  • Three groups. Self-serve tools with public pricing, platforms sold with an implementation project, and modules of larger platforms or advisory services. Companies that have not launched yet are listed separately.
  • Prices do not compare 1:1. Some providers count products (GTINs), others models, passports per year, active passports, devices or collections. We always give the unit and never convert anything to a price "per passport". Prices are net of VAT, in the provider's currency.
  • Claims are claims. Certificates, customer counts and partnerships are described as the provider states them. Where a site says nothing, we write "not stated", which does not mean the feature is missing.
  • No ranking. We do not name a winner. Different companies need different things.

Self-serve tools with public pricing

DPP.COM.PL (a simple joint-stock company from Bydgoszcz) describes itself as an AI-based product compliance platform. Besides DPP it covers EUDR, PPWR and EPR. The Start plan is free for up to 10 models, Pro costs EUR 199 a month (up to 250 models) and Business EUR 599 (up to 1,000 models). The site advertises Pro for free until 31 December 2026. It states GS1 Digital Link support and GS1 Solution Partner status, and additionally anchors documents in a blockchain. Sectors: electronics, batteries, textiles, furniture, car parts, construction and packaging.

Thing Identity is software for GS1 Digital Link, e-labels and DPP, running since 2024, with a strong focus on wine e-labels. Billed yearly, Starter costs EUR 15 a month (10 products, one brand), Growth EUR 199 (500 products) and Business EUR 599 (10,000 products, a GS1 Digital Link resolver on your own domain). You pay per GTIN and scans are unlimited. API documentation is public.

QR System (EG System, Warsaw) grew out of device records and service management, and DPP is one of its modules. The FREE plan covers up to 9 devices and passports in total, START costs PLN 99 a month billed yearly (100 devices), then PLN 249, 599 and 1,190. According to the company's knowledge base its QR codes follow GS1 Digital Link. Passports export to PDF and JSON. A natural fit for machine and equipment makers who run service anyway.

DPP24 (paszporty-cyfrowe.pl) combines a panel with done-for-you setup included in the subscription. Starter costs PLN 99 a month (up to 100 passports a year), Bateria PLN 249 (up to 2,000 passports a year), Bateria Plus PLN 499 (unlimited, with API). On the battery plans billing starts on 18 February 2027. The site states EU hosting (Hostinger, Lithuania), JSON and CSV export at any time and passports on the customer's own subdomain.

Caruma DPP Connect targets fashion, furniture and battery brands, with a focus on post-purchase customer engagement. The Basic plan (PLN 499 a month, up to 10 passports in one collection) and Growth+ (PLN 699) add a yearly fee of PLN 3,900 for setting up the data infrastructure. There is also a per-item model: QR codes from PLN 12, NFC tags from PLN 15. The company states that more than 20 European brands use it, without naming them.

DPPera, which is us. A self-serve tool for small and mid-size companies. Two passports are free permanently, the Brand plan costs PLN 119 a month (up to 50 active passports) and Studio PLN 349 (up to 500). Passports live at GS1 Digital Link URIs built on a GTIN, or under our own identifier when a product has no GS1 number, with JSON and a linkset for machines, print-ready code files, data export and EU hosting.

Platforms sold with an implementation project

myDPP (Macopedia, Poznań) is the most extensive Polish product and grew out of PIM implementations. Starter and Growth cost EUR 100 and EUR 200 a month, each with 1,000 products included, and EUR 0.02 or 0.04 per extra product per month. On top comes a one-off implementation of PLN 15-40k. It has GS1 Digital Link with a resolver that shows different views to different audiences, an API and integrations with PIM and ERP systems (among them Akeneo, Pimcore, Ergonode and Comarch). Batteries are live today, textiles and construction are marked "coming soon". For companies whose catalogue already lives in a PIM, this is the shortest path.

Label Registry (a Kraków company founded in 2026) combines DPP with GS1 2D codes, aimed at makers of clothing, batteries, electronics and construction products. It states EU servers and compliance with GS1 standards, and shows sample battery and textile passports on its site. Pricing is not published.

Modules of larger platforms, or services

Envirly is a carbon footprint, LCA and ESG reporting platform. Its product passport, with a QR code following GS1 Digital Link, is an output of the LCA analysis, next to the report. There is no separate DPP product or price list, only a demo. Envirly states that its LCA platform is certified by TÜV Nord against ISO 14067. An option for companies that calculate their footprint anyway.

Exergy runs dpphub.org, a free platform for publishing passports (the former address digply.com now redirects there). It offers QR codes with scan statistics and JSON data export. Exergy describes its own DPP service as "in development" and earns from advisory work: carbon footprint, LCA and EPD declarations.

Veridi (Warsaw) starts with a DPP and ESPR readiness assessment in a sandbox, free for 30 days, with a paid tier announced. On top: consultations (PLN 120 an hour), expert analysis and passports prepared on commission. It states GS1 Digital Link support. According to the site a pilot is running and account registration is currently restricted.

Announced, not launched

Tracelia (Warsaw) is preparing a SaaS for small and mid-size textile and apparel companies: a passport studio, supplier requests without an account, an audit log. By its own description it is pre-launch. There is no price list; the FAQ mentions "a few dozen euros per passport depending on the plan". Hosting is planned in Frankfurt.

GoDPP is in a research phase: it collects survey responses and promises respondents free tests of the finished product. The project is co-financed by EU funds through the InnoStart Hub programme. The GS1 Poland partner catalogue also lists Onyximity from Wrocław, but its website did not resolve on the day we checked.

Foreign providers with a Polish site

  • DigitalProductPassport by WIARA (Bulgaria, digiproductpass.pl): a free plan for up to 3 passports, paid plans at EUR 33, 125 and 419 a month. It states GS1 Digital Link, AWS hosting in Frankfurt, ISO/IEC 27001 and all 24 EU languages.
  • DPP-Tool (France): a self-serve tool for SMEs with a Polish site and a free plan for a few products.
  • qr3.app (Austria): a QR code generator with an API and a DPP module for batteries and textiles.
  • DPP Hero (Germany): batteries only, EUR 49, 99 and 249 a month. No Polish site, but it publishes expert articles in Polish trade media.

Among the large international players, the ones that come up in Polish DPP conversations are Circularise (Netherlands), Kezzler (Norway), Arianee (France), EON (USA), atma.io (Avery Dennison) and Protokol (Netherlands). These are enterprise solutions sold through projects rather than a price list on the website.

What nobody offers today

Registering passports in the EU registry. The Commission's DPP registry has been live since 20 July 2026, but no provider, including us, shows working passport registration, because that part of the registry has not been opened yet. According to the Commission helpdesk the registry API is due in the fourth quarter of 2026. If someone promises a "connection to the EU registry", ask from when and on what basis. What does work in the registry test environment today is in our piece on verification in the DPP registry.

Compliance with textile or furniture delegated acts. Those acts have not been adopted, so no tool can be "compliant" with them. At most it can be ready for what can be foreseen from ESPR and the standards.

How to choose: six questions to start with

  1. How do you count the price? Per product, model, item, passport per year or collection? Map it onto your own catalogue, not onto the price list.
  2. What happens to my passports if I stop paying or switch provider? The code is printed on the product and has to work for years.
  3. Whose domain is in the QR code? Yours, the provider's, or GS1 Digital Link on your GTIN?
  4. Can I export all my data in an open format? JSON, CSV, documents, in one click.
  5. Does the tool support my sector today, or only "soon"?
  6. Do I need an implementation project? With a catalogue in a PIM or ERP, an integration saves work. With a few dozen products, a form and a CSV file are often enough.

A fuller list, including questions about the standards, is in fourteen questions to ask a DPP provider. The cost of the whole rollout, not just the subscription, is in what a DPP costs for SMEs. Whether you need GS1 at all is explained in do you need GS1 for a DPP.

A note on fairness

DPPera is one of the providers in this table, so we have an interest in how the comparison reads. That is why every provider is described with the same fields, we only use the providers' public websites, and we do not score anyone. Prices and offers change often. If you run one of these companies and something has changed, or we missed you, write to contact@dppera.com. We will correct the text and note what we changed.

FAQ

How many companies in Poland offer digital product passport software?

In October 2026 we found 13 Polish companies: 9 with a live offer, including self-serve tools and platforms with implementation, 2 in a pilot or without public pricing, and 2 not yet launched. On top of that, 4 foreign providers have a Polish site or appear in Polish media.

How much does DPP software cost in Poland?

The lowest public prices start at zero on free plans, and paid plans start at about EUR 15 or PLN 99 net a month. Platforms with implementation start at EUR 100 a month plus a one-off setup of roughly PLN 15-40k. Prices do not compare 1:1, because providers count different units.

Is there a free digital product passport tool?

Yes. Free plans or a free start are offered by, among others, DPP.COM.PL (up to 10 models), QR System (up to 9 devices and passports), DPPera (2 passports), Exergy's dpphub.org and the Bulgarian WIARA (3 passports).

Does a DPP provider need a certificate?

There is no mandatory certificate for passport providers. For battery passport systems a voluntary certification mark now exists, and it does not take over the manufacturer's liability. We covered it in battery passport certification.

Can a provider already register my passport in the EU registry?

Not yet. The registry has been live since July 2026, but passport registration by providers has not been opened. According to the Commission helpdesk the registry API is due in the fourth quarter of 2026.
